Volunteer

On behalf of the Caledon Soccer Club we would like to thank you for your talent and the time you invested to make our Club a resounding success. We are only as good as our volunteers!

It is only with help such as yours that we are able to offer the players, your children, the skills they need to excel at the sport and have fun while playing. We are appreciative of all those who were able to volunteer their time last year and are asking for your help again this season. If you are able to give a few hours a week to make sure that our kids get to play and have fun contact the club.

Volunteer Youth House League Coaches Needed!

Youth House League Coaches are responsible for assisting the House League Director with the organization of a specific age group during the soccer season. Coaches create rosters for teams, help to ensure balance within the age group, communicate information to coaches, and act as a liaison between the Club, coaches and parents.

Employment

Various part time Technical Staff Coach positions are available for the 2023 season. Applicants must have availability on weeknights and weekends. The positions will involve working with development (U8 to U12) or rep teams and coaches, providing technical support for players and coaches.

Qualifications: OSA Pre-“B“license or equivalent with playing and coaching experience.

Competitive Development Coaches U8-U12

The Competitive Development Coach position is responsible for providing leadership and the oversight of the development of one of the Grassroots Competitive teams. The position is to teach and develop young players within a safe, disciplined and challenging environment where they can learn to love the game and be encouraged to stay in the sport. The position manages all aspects of the competitive development team including games, practices, off-field activities. A Caledon Technical Team member will be scheduled to assist coaches with curriculum practices.

Referees

The soccer referees will be the eyes and ears of the OSSC in our refereed soccer. They will be required to have an excellent
understanding of soccer rules, etiquette and Ontario Soccer / Caledon Soccer Club policies. They will referee games, set-up the field (when needed), liaise with
members and provide clarification of Ontario Soccer / Caledon Soccer Club rules and policies.Be a positive, fun, outgoing and enthusiastic person!
Arrive at the facility 15 minutes before game time to meet with captains and ensure facility is ready for games. Training will be provided (if required).
